Michael Douglas Bailey, 28 of LaGrange, was arrested in Rome after reports said he attempted to steal a car full of items from the East Rome Walmart.
Police said that Bailey was captured while trying to sneak the buggy and items out of the garden center.
The estimated value of items stolen was $303.95.
Bailey is charged with theft by shoplifting and possession of marijuana.
