Michael Cortez Kent, 39 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he hit a juvenile in the face causing selling and bruising.
A second juvenile, 13 years-old, witnessed the incident.
The incident occurred at a location on East 2nd Street in Lindale.
Kent is charged with 3rd degree cruelty to children and 1st degree cruelty to children.
