Michelle Lynn Causey, 39 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said she starved her dog “Hank” to the point he died.
Reports said that “Hank”’s ribs, lumber, vertebrae and other bony prominences were easily visible.
“Hank” was given a 2 out of 9 on the Purina Body Conditioning Scale.
Reports went on to say that a necropsy was performed and determined that the dog died from starvation.
Causey is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
