The Rome Symphony Orchestra (RSO) invites the community to an unforgettable night of beautiful music with “An Evening of Broadway with Jacque” on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m. at the Rome City Auditorium. Special guest performer Jacquelynne Fontaine-Isaac will showcase her diverse vocal range, from contemporary Broadway to operatic singing representing a wide spectrum of selections from the Great White Way—spanning the Golden Age to modern musicals.

“Across numerous television shows, musical theater productions, and the national tour of ‘The Phantom of the Opera,’ Jacque has entertained audiences around the world,” said Jeffrey Dokken, Conductor and Music Director of the Rome Symphony Orchestra. “Jacque will once again bring that signature, unparalleled mixture of talent and charm that has made her a star of stage and screen.”

The evening’s program will feature favorites from six decades of Broadway and film, highlighting works from composers such as Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Schwartz, Stephen Sondheim, and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Audiences can expect a mix of beloved classics and lesser-known gems from shows including “Ragtime,” “West Side Story,” “Anastasia,” and “The Phantom of the Opera.” Throughout the performance, Fontaine-Isaac and Dokken will share personal anecdotes and background stories, interspersed with special duets. Although most Broadway scores are written for smaller ensembles, “An Evening of Broadway” will showcase arrangements that leverage the talents of the entire Rome Symphony Orchestra.

“Jeff’s arranger is phenomenal, and his orchestrations give me goosebumps,” said Fontaine-Isaac. “They are fun, fresh takes on classics, with lush, stunning arrangements that utilize the full symphony.”

Patrons may recall that the last time Fontaine-Isaac performed with the RSO, she was nine months pregnant with a baby girl.

“The people of Rome are so delightful and lovely. I had such a special time meeting everyone last time, and I look forward to coming back,” she said. “Rome is such a special place, and I am beyond thrilled to return and work with Jeff and the RSO.”

Now, 16 months later, the former Miss California is working on her next passion project: a new album of Golden Age standards and lullabies that highlight life’s precious moments, with themes of unconditional love, healing, and comfort. “Songs to a Little One” is set to debut in spring 2026 under the Tonsehen record label. Selections from the album will be performed live for the first time during a dedicated portion of “An Evening of Broadway,” featuring songs curated with younger audiences in mind, including pieces from “The Secret Garden” and “Peter Pan,” as well as a special arrangement of Billy Joel’s “Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel).”

The evening will also feature the world premiere of an arrangement from a new musical currently in development, in which both Fontaine-Isaac and Dokken are involved. The production is set to debut in Washington, D.C., next year.

“Jacque is a true legend and an incredibly delightful person, and we could not be more honored to feature her with the Rome Symphony Orchestra,” added Dokken. “Don’t miss your chance to see this incredible concert!”
