Silver Creek Man Assaults Another with Gun, Burglarizes Home

Demarius Tyrese Hodges, 21 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted another person with a gun at a home on Woodberry Drive.

Reports said Hodges pulled a Smith & Wesson and racked it before pointing it at the victim.

The incident occurred back on November 28^th.

Then on December 19^th , Hodges burglarized a home on East 15^th Street  Hodges is accused of stealing a pair of headphones valued at $300.

Hodges is charges with first degree burglary, aggravated assault, battery, cruelty to children, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and probation violation.
