Christina June Danford, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she stole close to $1,200 worth of merchandise at the East Rome Walmart.
Reports said that Danford with the help of others attempted to exit the store with the items through a fire door Police stated that Danford had parked her car in the fire lane. As her co-conspirator exited with the stolen items and loaded the car she sped away in a reckless manner.
The theft occurred back on December 21st.
Danford is charged with felony theft by shoplifting and reckless driving.
