Rome Man Jailed for Assalting Woman in front of Child

Edy Roblero Sanchez, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted a 36 year-old woman in front of a 10 year-old child.

Police said that during an altercation Sanchez grabbed the victim’s cellphone and threw it on the ground causing it to break.

Sanchez then slapped the victim in the face before grabbing her by the neck.

Reports added that during the assault Sanchez then tossed a coffee table causing it to break.

The victim suffered numerous injuries to her face and body from the attack.

Sanchez is charged with simple assault, battery, 2^nd degree criminal damage to property, 3^rd degree cruelty to children and obstruction.
