Devin Tyler Crowe, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he punched the mother of his children in the face during a dispute.
Reports said that the victim suffered a laceration to her face from the attack.
Crowe is also accused of taking her cellphone without permission.
The victim’s two children’s were home at the time of the attack.
Crowe is charged with battery.
