Keyonia Rashael Stripling, 37 of Rockmart, was arrested this week after reports said she conspired with another to sneak drugs into the Floyd County Prison.
Reports said that Stripling, along with Rontavis Stripling, attempted to smuggle the drugs into the facility back on February 14th.
Police said that phone calls were recorded between the Striplings that showed that Keyonia a cellphone and a charger along with 55.25 grams of tobacco, a pack of cigarettes, and rolling papers inside a Pringle’s potato chip canister.
She then placed the canister at the Bartow County Recycling Center so that it could be retried by Rontavis and brought back to Floyd County.
Stripling is charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.
