A 27 year-old homeless ROme man, Marcus Daniel Carlislie, was arrested this week after reports said he was found trespassing at the Sara Hightower Library and then refused to leave.
Reports said that Carlislie had been previously banned from the library before returning this week.
Police added that Carlislie began to act in a violent manner when asked to exit the premises.
Officers went on to say that Carlislie proceeded to resist arrest while being taken into custody.
Carlislie is charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and obstruction.
