A student at Cartersville High School was arrested this week after showing up to school with two guns.
Reports said that the guns were found inside a bathroom following a shooting that occurred at the Ivy Glen Apartments around 7:30 am that morning.
Police stated that a BMW at the apartment complex was shot numerous times and multiple shell casings were located near the car.
Investigators determined that the shooter was a juvenile CHS student and had went to school after the committing the incident.
The student is facing several charges, including reckless conduct and carrying a weapon in a school safety zone.
