After two seasons, Armuchee High School Head football coach Eric Belew has resigned.

Last year the Indians finished 3-8 and 0-7 in region play.  In Belew’s first season, Armuchee fished 4-6 and 2-4 in region play.

Before coming to Rockmart, Belew served as receivers and linebackers coach along with special teams coordinator.

He also worked in Tennessee prior to coming to Georgia.

Belew has accepted a job at Warren County High School in Tennessee as its head football coach.

Belew plans to be on campus at Warren County High School as early as next week to meet with players and make introductions with faculty and staff.

“I am excited about Coach Belew joining our Pioneer family,” said WCHS Executive Principal Chris Hobbs. “Selecting a new head football coach is about more than just finding someone with a winning record—it’s about finding a leader who will inspire our players, foster a positive team culture, and represent the values of our school both on and off the field.”
