Francisco Miguel Pablo, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he assaulted his two stepchildren.
Reports said that Pablo threatened to kill the children while lifting his arms to hit their mother.
The altercation, which occurred at a home on East Drive, occurred in front of two juveniles.
Pablo is charged with simple assault, two counts terroristic threats/acts, and two counts cruelty to children.
