Steven Marcus Annison, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he charged at and tackled a woman at a home on Ashland Park Blvd.
Police said that after locating Annison he lied about his identity.
Report said that the victim suffered injuries to her knee.
Annison is charged with battery giving false information to police, obstruction and a headlight violation.
