Rome Man Jailed After Hit-and-Run on Shorter Avenue

Sapan Desai, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he committed a hit and run at an intersection of Shorter Avenue and North 2^nd Avenue.

Reports said that Desai hit a car in the rear end before speeding away.

Desai is charged with hit and run and following too closely.
