The Polk School District recently wrapped up its annual food drive doubling the total of its goal for 2024.

Schools across the county donated 42,093 items this year.  The district set a goal of 25,000.

This year’s top contributor was Eastside Elementary School with 6,761 items being donated.

Rockmart Middle finished second with 6,165 items.
