Mrs. Carolyn Wynette Hopkins White, age 78, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024.  She was born on July 20, 1946 in Cedartown, Georgia.  She was the daughter of the late Emmett and Annie Welchel Hopkins. 

Mrs. White is survived by her daughter, Tina White Maxwell (Chuck); son, Richard White (Pamela); grandchildren, Mitch White (Abigail Miller), Madison Freeman (Harry), Timothy Maxwell and Josh Lind;  great-grandchildren, Amaya Maxwell, Kellan Freeman, Conley Freeman and Brantley Freeman; sisters, Barbara Ann Smith (Jimmy), Diane Harrell and Joyce Mclarty;  brothers, Ray Hopkins (Sara), Ronnie Hopkins (Angie) and James Hopkins (Barbara); sister-in-law, Glenda Hopkins, and several nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

Mrs. White is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul B. White; daughter, Lisa White; brothers, Bobby Hopkins, Alvin Hopkins and John “Tinker” Hopkins; sisters-in-law, Patricia Hopkins, Bea Hopkins and Elizabeth Hopkins; brother-in-law, Terry Harrell; grandsons, Tyler Williams and Jacob Maxwell.  

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Carolyn Wynette Hopkins White will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Olin L.  Gammage and Sons Funeral Home  with Dr. Ray Hopkins and Rev. Dennis Harrell officiating. Musical selections will be performed by Mr.John Tripplett.  Interment will follow in the family lot at Northview Cemetery in Cedartown with Mr. John Tripplett officiating.

The family of Mrs. White will receive family and friends on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at the Olin L.  Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jeromy Johnson, Chad Johnson, Vann Carter, Mitch White, Conner Harrell, and Jase Harrell. Stanley Hopkins will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
