Abrien Haven, 18 , Samuel Kinbrough, 17, and Dillon Bowling, 22, all of Cedartown arrested this week after reports said they were prowling around Cedar Hill Nursing Home.

Reports said that officers were called to the scene after a complainant stated subjects were walking up the driveway of the nursing home. Law enforcement has received several complaints from the owners of the old nursing home about a string of thefts where subjects have broken in and stolen wire from the building as well as caused damage.

An officer spoke to the complainant who stated he observed a truck pull up to the building and then come back down before three males walked to the top.

Officers stopped the subjects and asked what they were doing. One male, who identified himself as Dillion Bowling, stated his truck was overheating and he saw the spotlights on at the property. Bowling’s truck was parked in an abandoned parking lot nearby.

While gathering information on the other subjects, Samuel Kinbrough and Abrial Havens, Kinbrough stated he had a gun on him. Kinbough, only 17 years old, had a loaded revolver in the front right pocket of his hoodie which was removed for officer safety.

Havens then stated he had a firearm on his person, that was later discovered to be loaded and was also removed.

Officers then discovered that Bowling had lied about his truck overheating. They also observed a small spool of wire in plain view in the bed of his truck, as well as a broken-down wooden table.

During a search, two marijuana vapes were located on Havens’s person which he stated were illegal vapes.

Inside Bowling’s truck, officers located another firearm.
