Katerryun Jamer Holliday, 21 of Cedartown, found himself behind bars on a list of charges after reports said he was found with drugs at the Polk County Jaill.

Reports said that Holliday was originally arrested following a traffic stop in which he jumped from his vehicle and then fled on foot.

Police said that officers chased Holliday westbound on Thompson Street, before turning on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Holliday then jumped the fence and continued running behind houses, where he threw the book bag in an attempt to conceal the bag.

Holliday was eventually caught and secured into handcuffs where he was transported to the Polk County Jail, where he was turned over to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office for booking.

Upon arrival at the jail, a small clear plastic bag containing 10 pills believed to be Ecstasy was discovered inside of Holliday’s pants. Upon searching the bag, there was 66 packaged bags containing suspected Marijuana (approximately 5 grams each), 2 clear plastic bags containing suspected Marijuana (approximately 1 ounce a piece), another small clear plastic bag containing suspected Marijuana, multiple clear plastic bags used for packaging Marijuana and Ecstasy, 18 blue packaging bags for packaging Marijuana, 2 operational digital scales used for weighing narcotics, and 2 cups used to hold narcotics for weighing purposes.

Holliday is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drugs with intent to distribute, failure to yield at a stop sign, obstruction, tampering with evidence, crossing the guard line with drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
