David Martin Davis, 31, was arrested this week after reports said he shot a woman during a domestic dispute at the West Rome Walmart.
Reports said that Davis fired 8 shots at two subjects, only striking the 22 year-old female.
Davis then reportedly struck a grocery cart stall while the other victim was attempting to run away on foot.
The female victim and Davis has reportedly lived together for two years.
Davis is charged with three counts aggravated assault, thee counts possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, three counts reckless conduct, discharging a firearm on public property, three counts hit and run and reckless driving.

Just before 10:00 pm on Friday November 15, 2024, emergency responders were called to the West Rome Walmart due to reports of a shooting incident.
According to the preliminary investigation, a domestic dispute was taking place outside of the Walmart store which led to one female being struck by a bullet. The alleged shooter attempted to flee from the scene, nearly striking a witness to the incident, but was quickly apprehended by officers. The victim has been transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
