Geter Denise Wright, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she repeatedly slapped his elderly mother in the face and then destroyed her property with a baseball bat.
Reports stated that Wright used the bat to smash out the glass to the front door to her Wilson Avenue home.
Wright is charged with simple battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.
