William Kyle Godfrey, 29, and Nicholas Yvone Barnes 36 of Rome, were arrested this week after police said they tried to hide methamphetamine while riding motorcycles on a suspended license.

Reports said that Godfrey was found driving a stolen motorcycle and in the process attempting to discard a jacket that was later found with methamphetamine inside.

After stopping, Godfrey allegedly refused to play his hands behind his back.

Barnes is also accused of throwing away clothing that contained a meth pipe.

Both are charged with tampering with evidence and driving on a suspended license.

Godfrey is also charged with possession of methamphetamine, theft by receiving stolen property, driving on a suspended license, and obstruction.
