Martin Palmerin Lopez, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted four individuals at a home on Ohio Drive.

Reports said that Lopez pulled a gun and then chased the four victims out of the home.

Lopez then threw a glass smoking device at one of the victim’s, striking him and causing injury before kicked a door and causing damage.

When police arrived, Lopez is accused of fighting with officers and ignoring commands to place his hands behind his back.

A search then resulted in police finding Acetaminophen, a controlled substance in his possession.

A 12 year-old was at the home and witnessed the incidents.

Lopez is charged with four counts aggravated assault, first degree burglary, three counts felony obstruction, possession of drug related objects, criminal trespass, battery,  1st degree cruelty to children, possession of a schedule III controlled substance and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
