The Rome Christmas Parade has announced that it has again undergoed a change for its route this year. Organizers had originally said that the parade will travel along the west side of the northbound lane, but has since decided to go back to the original route of the eastbound lane of Broad Street .
Organizers originally thought that by diving on the opposite side would allow for larger trucks to make an easier turn onto Broad Street.
Organizers said, “we apologize the confusion caused by the premature announcement of a change, but want to make it crystal clear that we will be back on the tried and true route of Broad Street.”
This year’s Christmas parade will be on Tuesday, December 3rd. A second change to this year’s parade will be it’s start time. This year the parade will begin at 7 pm instead of 6:30.
The theme for this year will be “A CHRISTmas Carol”.
