The Euharlee Welcome Center & History Museum is proud to present two special events this November that celebrate the local heritage and honor the military service of veterans. The Veterans Gallery will be on display from November 4 through November 12, and a Living History Tour will take place on November 9, with guided tours starting at noon and running until 4 p.m.

Veterans Gallery

From November 4 to November 12, visitors are invited to the Veterans Gallery, a photographic tribute honoring veterans through images and memorabilia provided by local families. This heartfelt gallery showcases the courage and sacrifices of those who served, offering community members a powerful space for reflection and remembrance. The exhibit is free and open to the public at the Euharlee Welcome Center.

Living History Tour

On Saturday, November 9, the Euharlee Welcome Center will host a Living History Tour, bringing the area’s history to life through reenactments and stories of significant local figures. Tours will begin at 12 p.m., with the final tour starting at 4 p.m. Each tour lasts approximately one hour, featuring beloved characters such as “The Lowry Sisters” and “H.P. Gaines,” as well as four talented performing arts students from Woodland High School. Tickets are available online for $5 per person, with proceeds supporting the Euharlee Historical Society’s scholarship fund and educational programs. Reserve tickets in advance at https://square.link/u/NgyNl1kX.

“We’re thrilled to offer these events, which highlight Euharlee’s historical legacy and pay tribute to those who served in the military,” said Dana Rieske, Museum Manager. “The Veterans Gallery and Living History Tour provide meaningful ways for our community to connect with our history and honor our local heroes.”
