Stephen Jarrod Washington, 34 of Calhoun, was arrested in Rome after reports said he stalked and attached a woman.
Reports said that Washington had been placed under a conditional bond to not have contact with the victim when he sought them out and slapped them.
When officers were called to the scene, Washington is accused of attempting to flee on foot.
Washington is charged with battery, aggravated stalking and obstruction.
