Silver Creek Man Jailed After Four Children Found Living in Unsanitary Condition

Frederick Jamal Hughes, 31 of Silver Creek,  was arrested this week after reports said officer found four children livening in unsanitary conditions inside a home on Nelson Street.

Report said that there was no running water in the home along with excess garbage inside and out of the home.

The children’s bedroom also had only a mattress to sleep on and its window missing.

The ages of the children are 11, 11, 9 and 8 years of age.

Hughes is charged with four counts 2^nd degree cruelty to children.
