A traffic stop near the intersection of North Borad and MLK Jr BLVD resuted in the arrest of Paul Connor Armstrong, 28 of Adairsville, on drug charges.
Reports said that officers stopped Armstrong for not having a tag light. During the stop, a K9 officer alerted on the vehicle.
A search then resulted in police finding psilocybin mushrooms and a glass smoking pipe containing suspected methamphetamine.
Armstrong is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of drug related objects and no tag light.
