Gregory Deshields McLeod, 65 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted a 58 year-old man with a gun on Reservoir Street.
Police said that during an argument, McLeod pulled the firearm while brandishing it toward the victim.
McLeod is charged with aggravated assault.
