Amaury Shakur Redwine, 22 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said he lied to police and was later found with drugs near his anus.
Reports stated that Redwine was a passenger in a vehicle that was being stopped for a window tint violation. Redwine proceeded to give police a fake name in order to hide his identity due to an active arrest warrant.
After arriving at the jail, authorities stated that he had two bags of marijuana in his groin area.
Redwine is charged with failure to appear, giving false information to police, possession of marijuana, possession of drugs by an inmate, and probation violation.
