Christopher Jackson Hooper, 22 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he terrorized and imprisoned a 26 year-old woman inside a home on Edenbury Court.
Police said that events began with Hooper biting the victim on the neck.
Hooper then choked the woman until she passed out. Once she woke up, he is accused of slapping her on the face. When she attempted to get off of the bed, Hooper choked her out a second time.
When the victim woke up this time, Hooper is accused of throwing beers at her before smashing one over her head.
The victim then told authorities that she attempted to run into another room to get away, but Hooper followed her and shoved her back to the bed where he began to kick her in the head.
The victim then ran to a car, but Hooper had unplugged the garage door preventing her from leaving. Hooper got into the car and then took her car keys and cellphone before making her go back inside.
Once back inside, Hooper slammed her and her cellphone to the ground. He proceeded to cover her mouth and nose making her go in and out of consciousness.
After waking up, Hooper shoved her to the ground, causing her to hit her head on a table.
Hooper is charged with four counts aggravated assault, five counts battery, false imprisonment, terroristic threats/acts, 2nd degree criminal damage to property, and obstruction of a person making a 911 call.
