Ismael Ambriz Guzman, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he bit a 15 year-old child on the knee during an altercation with another family member.
Guzman is also accused of damaging a door frame to the home during the incident, which occurred in front of a 9 and 15 year-old child.
The incident occurred at a home on East Drive.
Guzman is charged with cruelty to children in the 1st degree, two counts 3rd degree cruelty to children, battery and criminal trespass.
