On October 5, Brandi Corvi reported to Gordon County Sheriffs Office that her 2012 Ford ‘Escape’ automobile was stolen by person(s) unknown from her home in Plainville.
Deputies immediately set about looking for her car, which they located a few hours later on Union Grove Church Road . Upon stopping the car, they discovered the driver to be Corvi’s husband.
Questioning Mrs. Corvi further, the deputies determined that she’d known all along that her husband had the automobile, and had knowingly and willingly made false statements in reporting the alleged crime.
The husband was released and Ms. Corvi was arrested and charged with Making a False Report of a Crime.
