A substitute teacher at W.L. Swain Elementary School in Gordon County, Olivia Forrest, 22 of Calhoun, has been arrested after attacking a 4th grade student.
Reports said that Swain Principal Tara Green notified central office that Forrest had forcefully grabbed the child.
The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office was then contacted and Forrest was removed from the campus on Friday morning.
She was taken to the jail on charges of simple battery, and disruption of a public school.
