Martha Lee Redwine, 69 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she failed to provide care and food for 7 six-week-old puppies.
Reports said that the puppies were found to be emaciated, covered in fees and bleeding from the rectum due to tapeworm, roundworms and hookworms.
Three of the puppies were found “almost lifeless”.
One of the puppies died shortly after and the others had to be euthanized.
Redwine is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
