On September 8, 2024, the Floyd County Police Department responded to a report of threats made against Pepperell Middle School via Snapchat. That arrest has since been released that the student was a 5th grader at Pepperell Middle.
Responding officers investigated this and subsequently charged a juvenile with Terroristic Threats and acts.
We would like to assure the community that we take this and any other reported threats against our schools and children seriously.
