A convicted sex offender, Myles Covington III, 53 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to notify authorities a move of residences.
Authorities said that Covington moved from his home at 20 Chateau Drive to an unknown location back in November 2021 and never registered a new address.
Covington is charged with failure to register as a sex offender and probation violation.
