Stephon Dakota Chambers, 57 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a U-Haul truck.
Reports said that Chambers rented the truck and never returned it in the proper allotted time.
Police added that after locating the truck and Chambers, they found him in possession of marijuana while taking him into custody.
Chambers is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of marijuana.
