Clay Hightower Peak, of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said he promoted endangering the life of a 7 year-old child.
Peak went to social media and called himself a “savior, who was being crucified” while dressed as Jesus Christ, before turning himself in Friday evening.
Reports stated that Peak knowingly and willingly aided a 7 year-old to commit a delinquent act by encouraging him to ride a motorcycle recklessly.
The child was recorded repeatedly illegally riding on the roadway while running multiple stop signs and placing himself in danger of being hit by other vehicles.
While recording the child riding, Peak was also recorded driving his vehicle while holding his cellphone and not wearing his own seatbelt.
Peak then laid drag on Fairhaven Drive while running stop signs himself.
Reports went on to say that Peak tailgated the child, coming within several feet of striking the child with his vehicle.
Peak also recorded himself “popping wheelies” near the child and coming close to hitting a fence at Coosa High School.
Peak then laid drag in the school parking lot, causing several marks to the property.
Peak is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, two counts reckless driving, reckless conduct, no seat belt, two counts laying drag, running a stop sign, riding a motorcycle without a helmet, and distracted hands free violation.
This arrest comes after Peak’s partner allegdly lied to police about the high school principal commiting the acts that Peak actually is accused of doing.
