Cedartown Man Jailed for Beating Woman with Shoe

Marcus Lamar Williams, 41 of Cedartown, was arrested this week after reports said he beat a Rome woman in the face with a shoe.

Reports added that Williams also struck the victim in the face with his hand during the argument on East 20^th Street.

Williams is charged with battery.
