Tommy DeWayne Cook, 54 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said he maliciously failed to provide care to a kitten that required medical attention.
Police said that Cook’s actions resulted in the rear legs of the kitten being rendered useless.
Cook is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
