Donaldson Clark Ware, 58, and Sandy Michelle Ware, 44, of Armuchee, were arrested this week after reports said they allowed for two children, ages 14 and 7, to live in an unclean or safe environment.

Reports said that officers found multiples holes in the floor that were large enough to fall though, a roach and mouse infestation and electrical/fire hazards throughout the home.

There was also trash and rotten food covering the kitchen table, floors and countertops.

Reports went on to say that there were snakes coming in and out of the home because of the condition of the structure.

Officers also detected multiple foul odors throughout the home.

Sandy Ware was taken into custody at the home, while Donaldson was the suspect that was arrested at Armuchee Primary School on Wednesday.

Both are charged with cruelty to children in the 1st degree – deprivation of necessities.
