A registered sex offender, Christopher Del Shadwick, 44 of Rome, was jailed in Rome after reports said he violated terms of his release and then hid from officers at Armuchee High School at North Floyd Park.
Reports said that Shadwick was wanted for failing to register as a sex offender of a move from his home on Cordell Drive to an unknown location.
Shadwick is charged with failure to register as a sex offender, obstruction and probation violation.
