Joseph Michael Cox, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with methamphetamine while being stopped for speeding near the intersection of SR 20 and Spring Creek Bridge.
Officers said that when they stopped Cox, they discovered that had been driving on a suspended license.
While taking him into custody, police said they found him to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Cox is charged with possession of meth, speeding and driving on a suspended license.
