Brian Collin McKinney, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he he was found with an assortment of drugs during a traffic stop near Reservoir Street.
Police said that they initiated the stop after observing his license plate decal was obstructed. Once pulled over after a short chase, officers said they discovered McKinney had been driving on a suspended license.
While placing McKinney under arrest, officers stated that they found a large amount of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana in his possession.
McKinney is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, obstruction, driving on a suspended license and display of license plates.
