Shannon Marie Brooking, 44 of Rome, was jailed this week after refusing to cooperate with police during her arrest.
Police said that while taking her into custody for probation violation Brooking pulled away and then laid on the ground with her arms underneath in an effort to prevent being handcuffed.
The incident occurred on Third Street in Shannon.
Brooking is charged with obstruction and probation violation.
