Jareshia Meshea Driver, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she attacked and beat up a 25 year-old woman in front of two children.
Reports said that Driver hit the victim in the face and upper body with her fist.
The altercation occurred at an apartment on Avenue B.
Driver is charged with simple battery and cruelty to children in the third degree.
