Benjamin Tyler Chapman, 19 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he damaged a woman’s property while placing her in fear of her safety.
Reports stated that Chapman broke less than $500 worth of the victim’s merchandise.
Authorities added that the victim told them that she was placed in fear that she was going to receive a violent injury.
Chapman is charged with simple assault and criminal damage to property.
