A 62 year-old homeless Rome man, Bobby Joe Barber, was arrested on Broad Street after he allegedly assaulted and threatened a police officer.
Police said that they were dispatched to Game of Throwns on Broad Street when Barber appeared to be in a drunken state while acting in a boisterous manner.
Authorities said that while being questioned, Barber kicked a police officer while telling him that he is going to “kick his ass.”
Barber is charged with simple assault, terroristic threats/acts, public drunk and felony obstruction.
