An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Isaac Azrie Ross, 49 of Lilburn, has been jailed in Rome after reports said he and four others conspired to sneak 32 grams of meth and 257 grams of marijuana into the prison.
Reports said that security cameras showed a white sedan, driven by Anne Loshe, place a bag into a garbage can in front of the Floyd County Recycling Center. The bag was later retrieved by an officer and a look inside revealed the drugs.
Prison inmates Jameison Lawrence, Anthony McCoy and Terry Carton were also involved in the incident.
Ross is charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance near a public school ,conspiracy to violate Georgia controlled substance act, and items prohibited by an inmate.
